| It is more likely you'll see a woman from a conservative culture wearing traditional dress than one from a more liberal place. Not just short skirts and belly shirts, some cultures find women in pants to be offensive. And, of course these are the same cultures wherein a woman's virtue is more valued than a man's. Hence, the women are made to maintain standards from the old country while the men are free to wear whatever they want. |
