Can you imagine a middle class black family screaming and yelling like you elude to? Now, can't you easily imagine a poor white trash family losing their sh** in the ER? I don't think this about race so much as about class. Wealthier people don't tend to emote all over the place. They don't tend to be influenced by things like Jerry Springer and the various court shows where people act like idiots. For some reason it has always been the case that the poorer classes were more boisterous in all situations.

I completely agree with you on this. I think it has everything to do with class. Its like the poor have more to lose than the wealthy because your family member may end up in the ER and the wealthier people are saying do whatever you can do fix them it doesnt matter, while the poor could lose their house over the price of the surgery that needs to be done.
